Fox Pre-Cruise Cruise

Impulsive me booked another cruise prior to our Fox cruise. I was looking into going down to Key West for a few days before our Fox cruise, but found this five-day cruise out of Miami that leaves on Monday, Feb. 23 and gets back on Friday, Feb. 27. We've been to Key West before, but I've always wanted to go back.

I only booked an ocean view room since we will be in port every day and it saved us more than $1,000 over the cost of a balcony. Total cost for two of us with taxes and pre-paid gratuities was $924 (room 7048), much, much less than driving down to the Keys for a few nights. Plus the food savings and stopping in both Nassau and Coco Cay, Bahamas are a bonus.

We will fly into Ft. Lauderdale on the 21st, rent a car, spend two nights in the Miami area, cruise from 23rd through the 27th, then drive back to Ft. Lauderdale the afternoon of the 27th, spend the night in the Ft. Lauderdale area and get ready for our regular Fox cruise on the 28th. We will rent a car after the Bahama's cruise and return to Ft. Lauderdale around mid-day of the27th.

I have no clue when anyone else is coming in, staying or what they are doing after the Fox cruise...other than knowing the Wallers and Patti are also staying for spring training (but I have no idea exactly where they are staying).
